#ACTFEM Girls ACTing For EMpowerment
Girls ACTing For EMpowerment – #ACTFEM is a 28-month project carried out in Spain, Romania, and Greece, dedicated to empowering vulnerable young women aged 16–20. By combining theatre, performing arts, and applied digital technologies, the initiative provides tools for creativity, critical thinking, and self-empowerment to support their educational and social inclusion.
Through hands-on training, international exchange, and collaborative creation, participants form theatre groups that integrate digital innovation and sustainability into their performances. In doing so, #ACTFEM not only strengthens gender equality and diversity but also fosters new opportunities for active citizenship and lasting community development.
